Sanborn Insurance Maps - 1879/1880

The 1879/1880 map was published in two volumes, Vol 1 for the west side, and Vol 2 for the east. Each volume consists of 28 sheets. They are available in both black/white and color. These maps indicate many pieces of information about the construction and use of buildings, such as brick or frame, number of stories, windows, doors, etc. There is a street index and a map index. The maps show the addresses that were in use at the time (which were all changed in 1887).
