Huntington Collection (TE1)

These are contained in Series TE1 at the Archives. While that series provides a nice list of the contents, it provides no links to online copies. The "Link" that is provided just says "Available on the Archives' searchroom computers". They are, in fact online.

In addition, the regular viewer used to display TE1, one page at a time, provides too small of a window for decent browsing. In some parts, there is a missing file and the viewer does not provide an easy way to get past this "hole". In some cases, full PDF files are available under other Series. These are noted on this list where available. I am in the process of creating a more useful, better functioning viewer. Baltimore County deeds are done.

These are the "security" microfilms created in 1945-1946 from colonial-era records to ensure that important historical records would not be lost in case of damage from war activities. The Archives provides this explanation of how to access the records. However, it no longer works this way! Even when you get to an item using the links below, there is one significant mistake in this explanation. If you have your browser set to display PDF within the browser, when you have displayed a higher resolution image of a page as explained on page 7, it says that you "must exit from the pdf image" to switch to a new page. This is not true. Simply edit the URL in your browser Location field (not the Search field) just as explained on pages 4-5.

Note that this table was originally arranged by the TE1 numbers 1-256. These are the original film numbers, but are of no real significance. Many of the entries are not in logical order, so this table has been reordered.
